About Me
Filmmaker by God's Design
I grew up in North Carolina and started getting into filmmaking in about 2010 when I got my first camcorder. I recorded small homemovies and high school sports games. For me the filmmaking was storytelling and building worlds and I wanted to build worlds like that of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

As I continued in my passion for filmmaking I realized that filmmaking is more than storytelling, but it is a passion and an art. This art does not rely on the story, but rather the filmmaking tools. It was no longer about building worlds, but using the camera to express ideas even ideas that surpassed story. The films that move us pass reality and bring a perspective of the art in cinema are The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and Pierrot le Fou.

Filmmaking continues to grow and it is a true art form for me, but cinema does not stop their either for as I grew in my talents and grew my faith in God and took to heart that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, that He died on a cross and was raised again to life, so that we may not have to face the punishment of our sins and be reunited with the Father I realized that filmmaking is a vocation to please God and honor Him with everything we are given. Cinema is not about an audience or even the filmmaker, but it is about the maker of all and how to share Him through everything we do. The films that have inspired me in this and how to point those closer to God, the true life giver, are La Dolce Vita, Stalker, and many others.
